Job Placement & Support Services for
State VR Programs
Finding a job can be challenging—but it doesn’t have to be. At Recharged Voc Rehab, we provide hands-on support to individuals with disabilities referred through state vocational rehabilitation (VR) programs. We take an active role in the employment journey, offering personalized career planning to help each individual explore options, set goals, and move forward with clarity and confidence.
Our team directly sources and verifies job leads, engages and builds relationships with employers, and advocates on behalf of individual to help them secure the right job—not just the first one available. We also provide early on-the-job support and stay connected after placement to help ensure a successful adjustment and continued employment.
For VR agencies and their job seekers, that means a more efficient path to meaningful employment—and better long-term outcomes for everyone involved.

How Our Program Works
-
Referral – Once a job seeker is ready for job placement services, the case is referred to Recharged Voc Rehab. We coordinate closely with VR counselors to ensure a smooth handoff and alignment with the individual’s employment goals.
-
Initial Meeting & Vocational Assessment – Our vocational consultant meets with the individual (and other stakeholders if needed) to gather vocational, educational, and medical history, and to understand their interests, strengths, and support needs.
-
Individualized Vocational Planning – No two individuals are alike. We create a tailored plan for each individual, using assessment findings and counselor input to guide the job development and placement strategy
-
Job Development & Sourcing – We get to work identifying job leads that align with the individual’s abilities, interests, and location. This includes detailed employer research and proactive outreach—not just online applications.
-
Employer Engagement & Interview Coordination – We directly contact employers to discuss the individual’ qualifications, gauge interest, and arrange interviews. We advocate on behalf of the individual while encouraging independence and accountability.
-
Job Placement & Early Support – When an individual is hired, we provide immediate onboarding support to help ensure a smooth transition into the new role. This may include coordinating accommodations, clarifying job duties, and helping both the employer and individual set expectations for success.
-
Ongoing Support & Communication – After placement, we remain involved as needed—checking in with the individual and employer, addressing early concerns, and providing timely progress updates to VR counselors. Our goal is to help each placement become a lasting success through consistent follow-up and clear communication.
Why Our Program Works
- It Drives Progress – Unlike programs that place the burden on the individual, we take an active role—sourcing opportunities, coordinating interviews, and maintaining momentum throughout the placement process.
- It Supports Individuals – We advocate directly with employers to highlight each individual’s strengths while promoting their independence. This approach opens doors to meaningful opportunities aligned with their goals.
- It Enhances Outcomes – Our structured, hands-on model leads to faster, more effective placements and improved employment outcomes.
- It Strengthens Retention – We’ve built reliable systems to support long-term job success. With regular check-ins that taper over time, open access to support, and ongoing employer communication, we help ensure every new hire is set up to thrive.
Frequently Asked Questions
What services do you offer?
We provide a range of employment services designed to support individuals at every stage of the job search and placement process. These include job placement, retention support, interview preparation, résumé development, internship placement, and personalized job coaching. Our goal is to help individuals find the right fit—and succeed once they’re there.
Is it necessary to be located near your office to receive services?
No, you don’t need to be local. Our job placement model is designed to be flexible and fully remote. We’ve spent over 15 years leading national Return-to-Work programs, successfully placing individuals without ever meeting in person.
We stay closely connected through phone, video, email, and text—and we focus our efforts on employer outreach in your area. That means we’re actively pursuing local opportunities and advocating on your behalf, no matter where you’re located.
How is your approach different?
We approach employers. We don’t wait for them to approach us. Did you know the majority of open jobs are not advertised to the public? To find jobs, employers must be approached. Our greatest strengths are sourcing real job opportunities and advocating directly for the individuals we serve. We don’t rely on online job boards or expect individuals to navigate the search alone.
How long does the job placement process take?
It depends. The timeline for finding a job varies based on several key factors—your work history, skills, and preferences; the type of work you’re seeking; your schedule and availability; and the current demand in your local job market. For example, individuals with recent work experience, flexible availability, and broad job goals often move through the process more quickly. On the other hand, those with narrow preferences, limited schedules, or barriers to employment may take longer to match with the right opportunity.
Once we learn more about your background and goals, we’ll be able to give you a clearer idea of what to expect.
What is your communication style?
Clear and responsive. We provide consistent, timely updates and respond quickly to questions or requests. Communication is key to successful outcomes, so we make it a top priority—and we expect the same in return from the individuals we serve.
